Suri CruiseFour year-old designs her own clothes.

The daughter of and Tom Cruise, Holmes claims that Suri chooses her own designs and has done so since she was just 18 months.

“I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up.  And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, ‘I want this sleeve cut,’ and it’s like, ‘Okay, we’ll cut it.’ She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was one-and-a-half.”

Katie, 31, also claims to have had a hand in making clothes for her, but has to get someone else to sew them as she doesn’t have the necessary skills: “I started making clothes for Suri when she was born, designing dresses, and then having seamstresses sew them, because I don’t sew very well. As a child, I was always drawing clothes, and I’ve always loved fabrics, and when Suri was born, I wanted to have certain things be from me and created just by me for her.”

Michelle ObamaTwin fashionistas want to dress Michelle Obama.

The 24-year-old sisters have three fashion lines - The Row, Elizabeth + James and Olsenboye - and say they would love to see the First Lady in some of their designs from their most upmarket range.

“I’d love to get in The Row. The simple suits and things. It’s all made in America, so why not?” Ashley said.

Mary-Kate also revealed how she and Ashley were taught to dress tastefully and elegantly from an early age: “When we were growing up, our mother taught us never to have your belly button exposed.”

The Olsen twins aren’t the only designers who have expressed a desire to work with Michelle. says she would love to create a dress for the First Lady because she’s such a “strong woman.”

“I would love to dress Mrs. Obama absolutely absolutely absolutely! I just think she’s incredible and she’s a very strong woman and she’s beautiful. I love women and I just want to make women feel good and beautiful and it’s just been a huge compliment that ladies have enjoyed wearing my dresses and they look great! It just goes to show they can flatter women of all different shapes and sizes, all different heights, and that’s what it’s about. It’s about creating an illusion and having a great cut.”

Calvin Klein claims trends are “meaningless.”

The legendary designer is no longer involved in the fashion world and although his legacy lives on through his Calvin Klein label, he insists he doesn’t miss it because he hates trying to keep up with what clothes are popular.

“You know, since I’m no longer involved in the fashion business, I’m so happy to not pay attention to trends because they are meaningless anyway. They are over fast. As soon as you see them, as soon as you see people wearing them, they are over. That’s it. As soon as you see it on someone, forget it.”

The label is currently enjoying huge success thanks to advertising campaigns starring the likes of Zoe Saldana and , but Calvin - who sold his business in 2002 - refuses to take credit for it: “I have nothing to do with any of it. I sold the company. I have nothing to do with it.”

Daphne Guinness

“I like to experiment with different fabrics and see what happens. There’s one fabric I’ve been looking for for five years. It’s like an LCD screen, but it’s supple. You’d be able to play the movie Sunset Boulevard on your T-shirt. The military has the first option on it. I keep asking them, ‘Can’t you just give me a little bit?’”

Robert Duffy and Marc Jacobs is to create a plus-sized clothing line.

The designer will become the first top fashion label to create clothes for women above a US size 12, as he feels females with bigger body shapes should be able to have as much choice as those with slimmer frames.

“We are in talks now. For plus sizes. Listen, we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes. I’m a big guy 6ft 4in, 210 lbs. It’s not easy for me to find clothes. Of course I can have them made. I know how everyone feels. I try to diet but… I don’t like the phrase plus-sizes. Any suggestions? “We gotta do larger sizes. I’m with you. As soon as I get back to NY. I’m on it! It will take me about a year. But stay with us. (sic)” Robert Duffy - president of the Marc Jacobs label - told followers of his page.

If Marc and Robert’s plans are successful, experts says they could cash in on a “huge and untapped” market.

Lily ColeNow renowned for her gorgeous red locks, was bullied for being ginger.

The beautiful supermodel has admitted she was cruelly taunted when she was at school for having red hair, and although it was initially hard to deal with, she soon grew to love being different.

“When I was younger I definitely did face anti-ginger prejudice. As a child all teasing hurts, whether it’s because you’re fat or a different race or have red hair. I had enough comments from a couple of people to make it a sore point. I sympathize with children who are going through it but when they get older and are away from stupid children making comments, most people grow to love their red hair,” the model-turned-actress - whose unusual coloring made her a millionaire and the face of cosmetic giants Rimmel - said.

She also denied the fashion industry has a problem with drugs and eating disorders - claiming it is found everywhere: “No, those problems exist everywhere. I’ve seen them at school and in other working environments. Going down those roads is a personal choice and one I haven’t made so I haven’t been exposed to it.”

After and before photo of Crystal Renn

Plus-size supermodel was horrified after bosses airbrushed 30lbs off her frame for a campaign poster.

Crystal, who is a size 10, says the pictures for the Fashion for Passion advertisements no longer look like her because her appearance has been altered so much.

“They brushed about 30lbs off my body. I sat there in silence for so long when I saw the pictures. I couldn’t believe what they’d done. It didn’t look like me. Don’t cut inches off my thighs. Don’t make me a size two when I’m a 10. It’s totally misleading. Fashion should be about a beautiful girl in beautiful clothes, not this size obsession. It’s dangerous. But if I have a zit or cellulite, take it off!”

Bjork at the Moomins And The Comet Chase premiere

Much to no one’s surprise, eccentric musician Bjork recently attended a red carpet premiere in an outlandish green

superhero costume

dress.

Don’t get me wrong—I was one of the few who liked the Oscar swan dress! Maybe if the dress were more form-fitting, the singer wouldn’t look like a bloated little sister of the Hulk. Then again, it probably wouldn’t be something that Bjork would fancy. I do, however, like the gradient tights and chunky ankle boots.

Is this another fashion mishap for Bjork or a misunderstood fashion triumph?
